Anthropic’s public S-1 and a sharp late-October Bitcoin ETF outflow reset the map of AI compute demand and listed crypto access in the same week.
Anthropic files public S-1 for Nasdaq listing under ANT

Anthropic made its IPO prospectus public on 26 October after a confidential filing earlier in the year. It plans to list Class A shares on Nasdaq under the ticker ANT. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley lead a large underwriting group. The filing leaves the share count and price range blank. First-half 2026 revenue reached $16.3 billion, up roughly 1,300% from the year-earlier period, with the bulk arriving in the second quarter. GAAP net loss for the half was $80.7 billion, driven primarily by non-cash mark-to-market charges on convertible notes as the company’s valuation rose. The S-1 discloses large multi-year compute commitments, including an aggregate of up to $120.5 billion with SpaceXAI (a wholly owned SpaceX subsidiary) through 2029. Once full capacity is delivered—expected around December 2026—the run rate is about $3.1 billion per month. Initial non-cancelable periods end in early 2027; thereafter either party can exit on 90 days’ notice. Parallel minimum commitments with Google, Amazon and Microsoft are larger and harder to cancel. Co-founders retain majority voting control via a dual-class structure. The document also contains an unusually long risk-factor section covering model control, bioweapons and geopolitical effects.
Why it matters: A listed Anthropic vehicle would give public-market investors direct exposure to one of the two leading frontier-model companies and to the cash-flow and capacity contracts that now dominate the AI infrastructure stack. The SpaceXAI numbers quantify how much of the current Nvidia GPU fleet is already contracted rather than available for new hyperscaler or enterprise demand. Cancellation rights after early 2027 mean the revenue is not a locked multi-year annuity for SpaceX. For anyone tracking listed AI software, semiconductor capacity or Tesla/SpaceX-adjacent names, the filing supplies the first comprehensive public numbers on both growth and the scale of compute obligations.

Caveat: Price range, exact raise size and final timing remain undisclosed; reported $1.5–2 trillion valuation targets are press estimates, not filing figures. The $120.5 billion is a ceiling, not a guaranteed total.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs post $643 million net outflow on 30 October
Source: Farside Investors / SoSoValue compilations, 30–31 Oct 2026 — CryptoSlate, TFTC
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a net outflow of $643.2–643.3 million on Friday 30 October, the largest single-day withdrawal since June. BlackRock’s IBIT led with –$233.7 million, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC at –$201 million and ARK 21Shares’ ARKB at –$129.5 million. Grayscale’s GBTC and Bitwise’s BITB also saw smaller outflows; most remaining funds printed zero. The day reversed four consecutive sessions of inflows and left the 26–30 October week with roughly –$202 million net. Month-to-date October flows stood at approximately –$516 million. Cumulative net inflows since the January 2024 launch remained above $57 billion, with total net assets near $98 billion. Parallel Ethereum spot ETFs saw –$155.8 million the same day, extending a multi-week outflow streak.
Why it matters: Spot ETF creations and redemptions are the cleanest public measure of institutional net demand for Bitcoin (and Ethereum) through regulated channels. A $643 million single-day print, concentrated in the two largest funds, shows that access via the ETF wrapper can reverse quickly even when cumulative AUM is large. For readers following BTC/ETH market structure alongside listed AI and infrastructure names, the flow table supplies a dated, issuer-level fact rather than a narrative about “adoption” or price targets. It does not, by itself, indicate forced selling of underlying coins or a change in regulatory access.

Caveat: Daily flows can be revised after settlement; figures are net creations/redemptions, not exchange trading volume. One day does not establish a multi-month trend.
